May 3 marked the commencement of the graduation ceremony for the class of 2017.

Spanning across eight days, 4,883 graduands will be receiving their diplomas this year at the convention centre of Ngee Ann Polytechnic from May 3 – 11.

At the graduation ceremony, Guest of Honour, A/P Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Social and Family Development, urged graduands to thank the people who have helped them become who they are today and to responsibly utilise the skills they have acquired.

Besides presenting diplomas to the graduands of the Diploma of Electronic and Computer Engineering, the ceremony also saw the presentation of the Diploma Gold Medals, Ngee Ann Kongsi Gold Medal, Lien Ying Chow Gold Medal, Lee Kuan Yew Award and Tay Eng Soon Award to the respective recipients.

Due to space constraints, the respective ceremonies for each faculty are not open to the public but a live broadcast is available here and a recording will be made available sometime in July.
